Hello everyone and welcome to your Independent Wrestling News update on the Indy Wrestle Line, I am the weekend warrior Randy Klemme.

An update on NWA-Indiana co-owner Shawn Cook. Shawn underwent successful surgery yesterday at an Indianapolis Hospital and is expected to be sent home as early as Saturday which is great news for all of his friends. According to his brother Guy, they found more a little more damage during surgery. It will be a long recovery road for Shawn but we know the type of guy that Shawn is and we will be seeing him real soon….

We would like for everyone to also remember Scott Steiner in your thoughts as Scott continues to recover in a San Juan, Puerto Rico hospital after being injured at a TNA house show this past weekend. Scott suffered damage to his trachea when he was kicked in the throat in a tag match on Saturday and is currently listed in serious condition.

Did want to mention a show that I failed to talk about on the Wednesday update….that is Underground Championship Wrestling. The show takes place tonight at Steve’s Gym, 916 N Michigan in Elkhart. Among matches on the card is the finals of the UCW Tag Team Tournament. The belltime is at 7pm.

Wednesday night in Evansville, Coliseum Championship Wrestling was in action…

"The Baker" Josh Jewell defeated Dr. Blue

JP Lightning pinned "CHAMPION" "The Killa" Billy Hardaway to become the new CCW Lightweight Champion

Ophidian pinned Lince Dorado

Daizee Haze defeated Sara Del Rey

"Marvelous" Mitch Ryder defeated "The No Pain Train" Gypsy Joe

and in the MAIN EVENT it was a Bunkhouse brawl match for the CCW Heavyweight Title and Tracy Smothers pinned the Champion "The Texas Hangman" Lonestar to win the title..
By the way, CCW now has an official website www.coliseumprowrestling.com. And a BIG thanks to Big Lee, my main man down in Southern Indiana for sending me those results…
