It’s Sunday and here is your Independent Wrestling News update on the Indy Wrestle Line, I am the weekend warrior Randy Klemme.

First, I just received word before I did this report, that NWA-Indiana’s Shawn Cook was in a boating accident yesterday and is in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. From reports I have received, Shawn suffered numerous facial injuries and fractures. Our thoughts are with Shawn and his family at this time. As for the NWA-Indiana show today scheduled in Lafayette, I have received no word on it as of yet.

I want to thank EVERYONE that called yesterday and left messages on option #2 for me…A LOT of people are glad there are going to be indy reports 7 days a week now. I should mention that the hotline will not be updated EVERY DAY during the week, but there will be several updates throughout the week. Want to send out special thanks to Kevin that called and also Zach on the southside of Indianapolis who wants to remind people about the IWA MidSouth King of the Death Matches coming up in about 3 weeks out in Plainfield. We’ll be talking in more detail as we get closer to the show..

If you haven’t see Ladies Wrestling Star Hailey Hatred at any wrestling shows lately, there is good reason. She is in JAPAN. She reports on her MySpace page that she was undefeated recently in Japan. She defeated Io Shirai via Fisherman Brainbuster in Gifu, Japan and GAMI via Fisherman Brainbuster / Splash combination in Tokyo, Japan on the 26th and 27th of May with more to come.

As we usually do on Sundays…let’s send some birthday greetings out….New Era Wrestling’s Damien Cole celebrates a birthday on Wednesday this week as does Craig the Maniac of WCWO. We wish both of those gentlemen the best this week…
