Hello everyone and welcome to your Indy Wrestle Line Independent report I am the Weekend Warrior Randy Klemme.
Well the big story of the weekend is the injunction filed by the Tennessee Titans to block Pacman Jones from working the TNA PPV this weekend, however a judge ruled early Saturday that Jones can participate with the PPV BUT not be involved in any physical activity. It will be interesting to see what role Pacman will play at Hard Justice and if he will abide by the rules of the court or do like he does with everything else in his life and do what he wants to do...
I posed a question this week on themidwestinsider.com message board and on my myspace bulletins asking if TNA should be considered a "major league" organization or still an indy. I received a mixed bag of comments but the consesous is that TNA IS a "major league" organization because of their TV contract with Spike, but should be considered on a much lower level than that of the WWE. My question now is, what will it take for TNA to move to the next level?
My next question on themidwestinsider.com message board and on my MySpace bulletins is...what should a PROFESSIONAL wrestler look like? OK when I was in the ring I wore bibbed overalls and LOOKED like a damn hillbilly that was my gimmick in the ring...Taking that into consideration that it was apart of my "look" in the ring...I see an awful lot of cutoff jeans, cutoff T-Shirts, tennis shoes---it makes some shows look for UN-professional or backyard...If you have a gimmick or schtick it is one thing...I seriously would like opinions on the subject...
To answer a couple of other questions called in this week...Good to hear from southside Mike. Mike I am not sure about the attendance figures from the IPW and IWA MidSouth shows last weekend, but I would suspect IPW had a larger crowd...
To Jay, nice to hear from you again....the reason I had mostly Kentucky results the other day when you called was because they were the ones that I hadn't given on my previous reports
A BIG hello to Dirty Squirrel who joined the family of hotline hosts in Indianapolis. We appreciate your compliments of the Indy Wrestle Line and hope you continue calling back...By the way the IWA MidSouth Indianapolis hotline number is 317-579-3230.
